Game 3 of the World Series between the Red Sox and Dodgers on Friday night was one of the wildest Fall Classic contests in recent memory. In an 18-inning, 3-2 Dodgers victory, which ended on a Max Muncy walk-off home run, Los Angeles and Boston combined to use a postseason-record 18 pitchers in the longest World Series game in history, both in terms of time (7 hours, 20 minutes) and innings (18).
