Blue Jays bust out against Rays with 7-run 1st
The Blue Jays were at risk of taking sole ownership of a dubious Major League record on Wednesday night, but a seven-run first inning helped change all of that. The Blue Jays had runners on the corners when Justin Smoak opened the scoring with an RBI single off Rays righty Tyler Glasnow. Kendrys Morales and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. followed with RBI singles of their own before Aledmys Diaz delivered the big blow with a three-run homer to left.
