Twins’ pitching strategy, big inning pay off
Opener Gabriel Moya and primary pitcher Kohl Stewart combined to keep the Tigers down early as the Twins tested out a new pitching strategy, and Minnesota rode a four-run fourth to a comfortable victory at Comerica Park on Monday. Eddie Rosario hit his 24th home run in the victory, and later left after aggravating his right quad. Detroit scored its lone run when Rosario injured his leg chasing down a Jim Adduci line drive. Jorge Polanco added a home run in the ninth for Minnesota.
