Cubs cruise in Arizona to pad NL Central lead

Javier Baez and Daniel Murphy hit two-run homers and Anthony Rizzo drove in a pair of runs to power the Cubs to a 9-1 victory over the D-backs that opened a 3 1/2-game lead in the National League Central. Rizzo had a 17-pitch at-bat against spot starter Matt Andriese in the first inning that set the stage for Chicago’s early onslaught.
