deGrom adds quality-start record to Cy resume

Jacob deGrom’s routine excellence has resulted in another all-time feat. In limiting the Nationals to one run over seven innings on Friday, deGrom set a Major League record with his 23rd consecutive quality start in a single season, snapping a tie with Bob Gibson and Chris Carpenter.
