Kemp hits HR for 1,000th RBI as Dodgers roll

The first-place Dodgers wiped out the last-place baseball Padres on Sunday at Dodger Stadium with a football score, 14-0, taking the rubber game of the series and cutting the magic number to win the National League West to six. Hyun-Jin Ryu fired six scoreless innings and struck out eight while also picking up three hits of his own. Manny Machado, Matt Kemp (on his birthday) and Austin Barnes each homered, and Max Muncy — who entered the game in the fifth inning — had a pair of two-run singles.
