McNeil’s hot bat spurs Mets to rainy series win

The Mets prevailed over the Nationals in a back-and-forth finale, led by Jeff McNeil’s four hits and Michael Conforto’s three RBIs. Both starters, New York’s Steven Matz and Washington’s Erick Fedde, had abbreviated outings and struggled with control.
