Mavs’ Nowitzki out weeks, to miss ’18-19 start

Longtime Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki will miss multiple weeks while he continues to recover from April ankle surgery, according to coach Rick Carlisle. He is expected to be out for several games to start the 2018-19 season.
