Cole 18th in MLB history with 300 K’s in a season

Astros right-hander Gerrit Cole struck out Shin-Soo Choo in the sixth inning Wednesday for his 300th strikeout of the season. He’s the 18th major leaguer since 1900 to strike out at least 300 in a season.
