Shields dances out of trouble for Royals in fifth
Royals manager Ned Yost faced a difficult choice with starter James Shields in the fifth inning Friday night in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series. His decision to leave Shields in the game eventually worked out, but not before the Orioles shaved a four-run deficit down to one.
