Connor McDavid is hopeful he can play in an exhibition game before world juniors

TORONTO – Erie Otters forward Connor McDavid says he hopes to be able to play in an exhibition game ahead of the upcoming world junior hockey championship.

McDavid hasn’t played since he broke a bone in his right hand on Nov. 12.
