Trio with Reds ties lack help on Hall of Fame ballot

The 2015 class of inductees for the National Baseball Hall of Fame were announced on Tuesday, with no former Reds coming close to being elected. Rich Aurilia, Aaron Boone and Eddie Guardado all appeared on the ballot for the first time — and the last time, because they did not receive enough votes to be placed on next year’s ballot.
