Stanton ties franchise mark with 42nd HR

MIAMI — Giancarlo Stanton’s solo homer off Rockies right-hander German Marquez in the third inning tied Garry Sheffield’s franchise mark of 42 home runs in a season on Sunday afternoon at Marlins Park.
