Segura, Mariners rally to hold ground in WC

The Mariners rallied from a four-run deficit to edge the A’s, scoring the winning run on a wild pitch with the bases loaded and two outs in the ninth. The Mariners, who are within 3 1/2 games of the second AL Wild Card, got home runs from Robinson Cano, Mike Zunino, Jean Segura and Yonder Alonso. The A’s hit three homers, including Khris Davis’ 37th of the season. But a costly error in the ninth inning paved the way for Seattle’s victory.
