Brooklyn Nets guard Jeremy Lin has knee surgery, will miss rest of the season

NEW YORK — Jeremy Lin had season-ending surgery to repair a ruptured patella tendon in his right knee Friday morning, hours before the Brooklyn Nets played their home opener.
