Hardy avoids arbitration with 1-year deal

The Tigers avoided arbitration with left-hander Blaine Hardy, agreeing to terms on a one-year contract for 2018. Detroit also signed right-handers Kevin Comer and Mark Montgomery, infielder Niko Goodrum and outfielder/first baseman Chad Huffman to Minor League deals with invitations to Major League Spring Training.
