Yanks reportedly nearing Cashman extension

After overseeing a 91-win campaign in which the Baby Bombers finished within one victory of the World Series, Brian Cashman and the Yankees are closing in on a five-year, $25 million extension, according to a report by USA Today’s Bob Nightengale. The Yankees have not made an official announcement.
