Castro misses game with family emergency

Starlin Castro was scratched from Wednesday’s lineup due to a family emergency. Javier Baez moved from second base, where he’s played since being called up on Aug. 5, to shortstop, where he played the bulk of his games in the Minors. Utility infielder Chris Valaika took over at second.
