MLB’s threat of pitch clocks fizzles … for now
In simply limiting mound visits, commissioner Rob Manfred didn’t drop the hammer by unilaterally implementing pitch clocks. But if players don’t want those clocks in 2019 — and they don’t — they’d better pick up the pace this season.
