Xavier rises to No. 3 in poll; Virginia firm No. 1

Xavier rose to No. 3 in the Associated Press’ Top 25, the program’s highest ranking, while Virginia firmed up its No. 1 ranking. Michigan State remained No. 2, while Villanova dropped one spot to No. 4 after losing to Creighton.
