White Sox to celebrate Thome Day on Aug. 11

The White Sox will honor soon-to-be Hall of Famer Jim Thome with a ceremony at Guaranteed Rate Field on Aug. 11. Thome Day will be celebrated prior to Chicago’s 6:10 p.m. CT contest against the Indians. The first 20,000 fans in attendance will receive a Jim Thome Hall of Fame Bobblehead.
