Brantley, Carrasco lead Tribe’s charge vs. KC

The Indians capitalized on some early command woes from Royals lefty Danny Duffy and Michael Brantley once again played the role of hero in a home opener for the Tribe, leading to a 3-2 victory on Friday at Progressive Field. Brantley, who was activated from the disabled list prior to the game, delivered a go-ahead two-run single off Duffy in the pitcher’s erratic first frame, backing a strong start from Indians righty Carlos Carrasco.
