Beede joins Giants with role to be determined

The Giants are expected to summon right-hander Tyler Beede from Triple-A to make his Major League debut and start against the D-backs, a source close to the pitcher told MLB.com on Sunday. It was initially unclear whether Beede will start Tuesday or Wednesday.
