Benches empty in Boston after Austin’s slide
The benches and bullpens cleared between the Red Sox and Yankees in the top of the third inning on Wednesday night when Boston shortstop Brock Holt took exception to Tyler Austin making an aggressive slide into him on a forceout at second base.
