Tests on Shoemaker’s forearm are inconclusive
Matt Shoemaker will undergo a followup nerve conduction exam in a few weeks and remains shut down from throwing. The 31-year-old right-hander landed on the disabled list with a forearm strain on April 3 after experiencing discomfort during his season debut against the A’s on March 31.
