Cole dazzles with 16 K’s in 1st career shutout

Gerrit Cole added to his resume Friday when he struck out a career-high 16 while giving up only a fifth-inning double in the Astros’ 8-0 victory over the D-backs at Chase Field. It was his first career shutout and his first career one-hitter.
