Gallo homers twice, including 466-foot laser
Rangers first baseman Joey Gallo hit his 11th home run on Saturday night, and this one made a little history. Gallo’s home run — coming with one out in the second inning off Red Sox starter Eduardo Rodriguez — had an exit velocity of 116.8 mph. That’s the hardest home run hit by the Rangers since Statcast began measuring in 2015.
