Padres move Mitchell to ‘pen, Lyles to rotation
Right-hander Bryan Mitchell was removed from the Padres’ rotation on Monday. Mitchell, who was acquired with Chase Headley from the Yankees in the offseason, was scheduled to start on Thursday. Jordan Lyles will move from the bullpen to fill Mitchell’s spot.
