Pham fuels Cardinals in his return to lineup

Tommy Pham returned with flair and Miles Mikolas pitched 6 2/3 strong innings as the Cardinals edged the Padres, 2-1, on Thursday night at Petco Park. Pham, who missed four games with a groin injury, had a home run among his two hits and he scored both St. Louis runs. Mikolas got his fifth win of the season.
