Verlander spins 5-hit shutout, gets 2,500th K

Justin Verlander entered Wednesday with an MLB-leading 1.21 ERA. That improved after his dazzling five-hit shutout carried the Astros to a 2-0 win over the Angels at Angel Stadium.
