3 big flies boost Dodgers in sweep of Nats
Yasmani Grandal, Enrique Hernandez and Yasiel Puig homered, and Alex Wood earned his first win of the season as the Dodgers completed a three-game sweep of the Nationals on Sunday afternoon at Nationals Park. Joc Pederson hit an RBI double and Cody Bellinger knocked a sac fly in the ninth to provide insurance for Los Angeles, which secured the season series over Washington after winning both games of a doubleheader. The Nationals’ only offense came on Trea Turner’s two-run homer, while starter Stephen Strasburg yielded three runs and struck out seven in 6 2/3 innings.
