Cubs may wait until Friday to activate Bryant
Kris Bryant, sidelined with left shoulder inflammation, took batting practice on the field on Tuesday before the Cubs’ opener against the Tigers. He could be activated from the disabled list on Wednesday, although manager Joe Maddon said the club may take advantage of an off-day on Thursday and wait until Friday.
