Mondesi shows star potential in Royals’ win
Adalberto Mondesi hit a three-run homer and logged an RBI single for a career-high four RBIs as the Royals evened the series against the Twins at one game apiece. Ian Kennedy, who came off the DL earlier on Tuesday, left his start early due to left-side tightness and Brian Flynn went four strong innings to get the win for Kansas City, which scored more than five runs for the first time in 31 games. Brian Dozier belted his 14th homer for the Twins.
