Maeda’s 4th straight 9-K effort has LA eyeing 1st

Kenta Maeda has been pitching like a starter with no intention of going anywhere, with the latest proof Wednesday night’s effort in the Dodgers’ 4-2 win at Petco Park., limiting the Padres to four hits in 5 2/3 innings while striking out nine for the fourth consecutive start.
