Homers help Cards extend Central lead over Brewers

Two-run homers by Matt Adams and Oscar Taveras helped the Cardinals lessen the consequence of a three-error first inning and reward Lance Lynn for a gritty six-inning start in a 5-3 win over the Brewers. The Cardinals’ National League Central lead is now at four games with 20 games left on the regular-season schedule.
