Weeks is 12th Brewer to amass 1,000 base hits

Rickie Weeks’ two-out double in the ninth briefly kept the Brewers alive in their loss to the Cardinals, and it forever gave him a spot in the franchise record books. Weeks became the 12th player to log 1,000 hits for the Brewers. When the milestone was reflected on the scoreboard, Weeks doffed his batting helmet to a standing ovation.
