Ward’s stellar debut, Upton’s big night lift Halos

Taylor Ward made his MLB debut on Tuesday night, going 2-for-3 with an RBI in the Angels’ 7-3 win over the Padres at Petco Park. Justin Upton extended his hitting streak to seven games by going 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and three RBIs andn Eric Young Jr. also chipped in with two RBIs as the Angels (61-60) climbed back over .500 with their second straight win over the Padres.
