Snell strengthens Cy bid with 11 K’s vs. Royals

Blake Snell’s latest display of greatness came Tuesday night wrapped in a quality start complete with 11 strikeouts to lead a Rays win over the Royals at Tropicana Field. Willy Adames finished 3-for-4 with a solo home run to back Snell, and Joey Wendle added a two-run triple for Tampa Bay. Ryan O’Hearn homered in the fifth inning to account for Kansas City’s lone run.
