Francona: Leonys Martin’s season over

Given the concern Leonys Martin’s teammates have shown for his well-being, Indians manager Terry Francona held a brief meeting with his players prior to Wednesday’s game to discuss the latest in the center fielder’s recovery from a serious bacterial infection. Martin is recovering well, but he will not play again this season.
