McNeil, Smith lead Mets’ bats past Giants

Dominic Smith hit one of three home runs against the Giants, helping lead the Mets to their second straight win over San Francisco. Jose Bautista and Todd Frazier also homered for New York, which got six strong innings from Noah Syndergaard. Jeff McNeil notched two hits, giving him a knock in eight straight at-bats, which is one shy of the Mets record. Casey Kelly threw six innings for the Giants and allowed four runs (two earned) in his second start of the season, while Austin Slater hit his first home run of the season in defeat.
