Abreu, Leury power White Sox past Royals

Jose Abreu launched his 13th homer and Leury Garcia logged three RBIs as the White Sox slugged past the Royals in the series opener. Chicago starter James Shields went 6 2/3 strong innings with seven strikeouts, while Omar Narvaez helped seal the win with a late two-run homer. Royals starter Brad Keller labored for the second straight start, logging just 2 2/3 innings.
