Alex Smith has shoulder strain; Jon Beason’s season over

Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith suffered a shoulder strain in Sunday’s blowout win against the Rams. The Giants found out that linebacker Jon Beason’s season is over. They lead off Monday’s injury roundup.
