Arenado, Rockies blow past Dodgers
Nolan Arenado connected for a three-run home run in the first inning off Clayton Kershaw, who allowed four runs in 3 2/3 innings, as the Dodgers saw their losing skid extend to seven games. The Dodgers, still 10 games up on the D-backs in the NL West, didn’t have much luck with Jon Gray, who allowed one run in six innings. The Rockies are now three games up on the Brewers and Cardinals for the second NL Wild Card. Carlos Gonzalez also connected for a home run for the Rockies. The Dodgers have dropped their last seven games.
