A’s reportedly near deal sending Samardzija to White Sox
On Monday evening reports surfaced that the A’s were closing in on a deal that would send right-hander Jeff Samardzija to the White Sox, who have long been linked to the All-Star. Young infielder Marcus Semien is thought to be involved and, if dealt to Oakland, would slide in at shortstop.
