A’s ride 10-run inning to 6th straight victory
By the time the top half of the third inning concluded, the surging A’s were armed with a 10-run lead. It held up, as they defeated the Orioles, 10-0, on a combined one-hit effort by the Oakland pitching staff. Matt Olson’s 26th homer of the season, a three-run offering against Orioles right-hander Andrew Cashner, highlighted the eventful third inning, which saw 15 batters go to the plate. Three of them came up with two hits: Nick Martini, Jonathan Lucroy and Matt Chapman, who drove in three runs.
