Astros close out Halos, magic number at 3

Brad Peacock allowed one run over six innings and Alex Bregman and Marwin Gonzalez had a two-run double in the eighth as the Astros topped the Angels in the final, reducing their magic number to clinch a postseason spot to 3 games. Albert Pujols and Luis Valbuena homered, but the Angels dropped three games back of the Twins for the second AL Wild Card.
