Astros option Hoyt ahead of Sipp’s return
The Astros optioned right-handed pitcher James Hoyt to Triple-A Fresno after Tuesday night’s 4-1 victory over the Mariners in anticipation of activating lefty reliever Tony Sipp from the disabled list prior to Wednesday’s game.
