Astros option lefty Perez, reassign 7 others

The Astros made their first wave of Spring Training roster moves on Wednesday, optioning left-handed pitcher Cionel Perez to the Minor Leagues and reassigning infielders Randy Cesar and Nick Tanielu, outfielders Drew Ferguson, Alejandro Garcia and Miles Straw, left-handed pitcher Framber Valdez and catcher Jamie Ritchie to Minor League camp.
