Blue Jays hang on after Happ’s strong start

J.A. Happ deliverd 8 1/3 strong innings, striking out eight, to lead the Blue Jays to a victory over the Braves. Kendrys Morales homered in the first inning — his fourth birthday big fly — while Randal Grichuk recorded an RBI double and Aledmys Diaz added a sac fly in the fourth. Yangervis Solarte’s RBI single in the seventh, however, was the game-winner, as the Braves rallied for two runs in the ninth inning on singles from Kurt Suzuki and Ender Inciarte. Suzuki and Peter Bourjos also hit solo homers. Atlanta starter Anibal Sanchez went just five innings.
