Jose Briceno hit a walk-off homer in the 11th inning as the Angels outlasted the Rangers 5-4 on Monday in the series opener to end the Halos’ five-game losing streak. Shohei Ohtani hit one of the Angels’ three homers, crushing the hardest-hit homer of his career. Ronald Guzman and Jurickson Profar went deep for the Rangers, who tied it in the ninth on Elvis Andrus’ pinch-hit RBI single.
